This Carmelite Church, Valletta postcard was processed  in a particular way that gives it it’s rough, antique appearance.

The Carmelite Church in Valletta, on the Marsamxett Harbour side is a Roman Catholic church. It’s full name is Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Originaly built in 1570 it was destroyed during World War 2 and rebuilt between 1958 to 1981.

It’s dominant steeple and 17th century painting of Our Lady of Mount Carmel are it’s main attractions although it is used on a daily basis for mass.
