Through his photography, Luca attempts to share his appreciation towards life and the quirks that make it an interesting journey. An accountant by profession, and by no means an expert in photography, film photography started as a distraction during a turbulent period in his life, which quickly developed into a self-thought passion for all things analog.

“I was fortunate enough to spend a few months living and studying in the Netherlands, specifically in a small town called Leiden. From my experience, the Dutch are very calm, polite and orderly. On a rare sunny weekend, which coincided with a public holiday, a fun fair was erected within one of the squares which attracted people in droves. I chose to exhibit this photo because it captures the exception to the Dutch norm – unkempt surroundings and a young man, no older than 12, defying the age restriction and trying his luck at the slot machines”
